Last Night

We were sitting on the couch in deep conversation,
but i started to fade the alcohol making me sleepy.
You tell me to stay awake then your lips brush mine,
the night felt like a dream come true.
My heart skipped a beat as you gazed in my eyes,
i shivered from your gentle touch.
Is this really happening i ask myself...
And the answer is yes.
But neither of us were sober...
then again that didn't cross my mind.
All i knew was i liked what was happening,
i wanted all of you.
The rest of the night was a blur,
morning came...and the moment was gone.
Disappointment surrounds me now,
when you haven't talked to me since the night we kissed.

Sober

Smoke to forget,
Drink to not think,
Take pills to be chill.
